
Registered Dietitian / Principal
Lisa Richardson is the Fitness Clinic's premiere nutritionist. She brings to the Fitness Clinic a wealth of knowledge in nutrition science, weight loss, and fitness. A registered dietitian (RD), Lisa has 25 years experience providing menu planning and nutrition counseling services to a variety of people from elite athletes to cardiovascular patients. Lisa is also a published author on nutrition topics and physical education and she has been invited to speak at a number of seminars on both topics.
Lisa's graduate degree is in Human Performance from San Jose State University with emphasis in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology and Sports Sociology; she loves sharing her expertise with her personal training clients. With over 20 years of experience in equestrian eventing, vaulting, gymnastics, dance, bodybuilding, power lifting and marathoning, Lisa likes to gear her personal training sessions towards each client's unique lifestyle needs. Lisa believes that there are many ways to measure success in fitness (not just the scale.) This philosophy drives her to create fitness programs that combine proper eating as well as consistent exercise which helps clients achieve their health and fitness goals.
When Lisa is not busy managing the Fitness Clinic with Karl, she enjoys being a mom to her kids, Casey (16 years old) and Cory (6 years old). She loves spending time with her family, enjoys blue grass concerts and when she gets the chance, she and her husband, Boyd, love trying to improve their golf games.
